Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15 (NIV)

One way God reveals His heart is through His appointed shepherd-pastors. Our shepherd-pastors do not just carry titles and responsibilities given to them, they carry the very heart of God. The human heart and mind must constantly be aligned to the heart and mind of God so that we live in God’s agenda and for God’s glory. That alignment is parallel with the posture and practice of repentance; turning away from the ways of men to the ways of God or it simply means making a U-turn to the direction of God.

We will then witness the beautiful work of restoration from the inside out in our lives, marriages, families, relationships, churches and nations. Thus, it is crucial that we constantly seek after God’s heart, mind and ways because we firmly believe His ways are higher and His thoughts are perfect and purposeful. God’s leadership is demonstrated through His great leaders and great leaders reflect God’s leadership.

  • Seeking after God’s heart to be our shepherd-pastors priority and delight.
  • Repentance from the ungodly ways of living and leadership.
  • God-inspired knowledge and understanding for our shepherd-pastors’ leadership at home and church.
